These Terms govern your purchase and use of products from Hidden Houses ("we," "us," "our") through hiddenhouses.net. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read the sections on made-to-order production, returns, and safe use, since they affect your rights.

1. What we make

Each Astro Frame is a custom object. We calculate the positions of the planets and houses for the exact date, time, and place of birth you provide, sculpt that chart in relief, print it in PLA (a plant-based bioplastic), mount it behind acrylic in a frame, and ship it to you. Every piece is produced individually, after your order is placed.

Charts are calculated using the Placidus house system and the tropical zodiac. The calculations themselves are astronomical: they describe where the planets actually were at the moment you give us. Everything we provide is for entertainment purposes only, and is not advice of any kind. See Section 9.

2. Ordering, pricing, and payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. The price shown at checkout includes free standard shipping within the United States. Gift wrapping is an optional paid add-on. Applicable sales tax, if any, is shown before you complete your order.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.

We may decline or cancel an order, including after payment, if we suspect fraud, if the order cannot be fulfilled, or if a price or description was published in error. If we cancel, we refund you in full.

3. The birth details you provide

Your chart is only as accurate as the information you enter. Please check the date, time, and city carefully before ordering. We produce exactly what you submit, and we cannot verify it.

If you notice a mistake, email support@hiddenhouses.net immediately:

• Before your piece enters production, we will correct it at no cost.
• After production has begun, we will remake it at 50% of the purchase price. We split that cost with you rather than leaving you with the wrong sky.

If you don't know the exact birth time, the chart still calculates, but house positions and the Ascendant will differ from the true chart. That is a limitation of the data, not a defect.

4. Production and shipping times

Orders are produced in weekly batches. Expect approximately 5 to 7 business days in production, plus 2 to 5 business days in transit via USPS Ground Advantage. You will receive tracking by email when your order ships.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, holidays, and equipment failures happen. If your order will be significantly delayed, we will tell you.

We currently ship within the United States only.

5. Damage, loss, and returns

Damaged in transit: we remake and reship your order free of charge. Send a photo to support@hiddenhouses.net within 14 days of delivery. You do not need to return the damaged piece.

Defective or incorrect: if what arrives does not match the birth details you submitted, or has a manufacturing defect, we remake it free of charge.

Change of mind: because each Astro Frame is made to order for one specific moment in time, it cannot be restocked or resold. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind.

Lost in transit: if tracking shows no movement for 7 or more days, contact us. We will remake your order. Recovering the lost parcel from the carrier is our problem, not yours.

Wrong address: if a parcel is returned to us because the shipping address you entered was incomplete or incorrect, we will reship it once you cover the cost of the new label.

If we ever ask you to send something back to us, we will email you the return address and instructions first. Please do not ship anything to us without contacting support.

6. Safe use and care, please read

Your Astro Frame is a decorative object for indoor use. It is not a toy.

• Hang it securely. Use wall hardware rated for the weight of the piece, anchored into a stud or with an appropriate wall anchor. An improperly hung frame can fall and cause injury or damage.
• Keep it away from heat and direct sunlight. PLA begins to soften at roughly 55 °C (130 °F). Do not leave it in a parked car, on a sunlit windowsill, above a radiator, or near any heat source. Heat deformation is not covered by our guarantee.
• Keep it out of reach of small children and pets.
• Clean it correctly. Use a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth. Never use glass cleaner, alcohol, ammonia, solvents, or paper towels on the acrylic, since they cloud and scratch it permanently. Damage from improper cleaning is not covered.

7. Intellectual property

The Hidden Houses name, logo, site design, product design, and the software that generates each chart are our property. You are buying a physical object for personal use. You may not reproduce, manufacture, or sell copies of the design, or use our images or branding commercially, without our written permission.

You keep the rights to the birth details you provide. By submitting them you give us permission to use them for the purpose of producing and delivering your order.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your order, whatever the cause, is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including missed occasions, lost profits, or emotional distress.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The site and its astrological calculations are provided "as is." While we take accuracy seriously and verify our calculations against established astronomical sources, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

9. Entertainment purposes and no professional advice

For entertainment purposes only. The Astro Frame and any written interpretation we include are provided solely for entertainment and amusement. They are decorative and reflective in nature. We make no claim of occult, psychic, or supernatural ability, we do not predict future events, and we do not tell fortunes. Any interpretive text is general, prepared in advance, and arranged around the positions in your chart. It is not personalized counsel about your circumstances.

No professional advice. Nothing we provide is advice of any kind, whether medical, psychological, health, financial, investment, legal, or relationship advice, and none of it should be relied on as such or used as a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions you make after reading it are your own. If you are dealing with a health, financial, or legal matter, please consult someone licensed to help with it.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Queens County, New York.

Before filing anything, please email us. Nearly every problem we have seen, whether a damaged piece, a wrong date, or a delayed parcel, is solved in one message.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you place your order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
